Dr. Varalakshmi Bhat, who holds a BAMS and MD (AYU) with a CRAV qualification, completed her undergraduate studies in Ayurveda at the esteemed VPSV Ayurveda College in Kottakkal. During her undergraduate program, she developed skills in various foundational areas of Ayurveda, including basic principles, knowledge of medicinal plants, pharmaceutical preparations, wellness and yoga, as well as general medicine and Panchakarma, among other specialties.

She furthered her education with a postgraduate degree from GAVC Thripunithura, specializing in MS Salyathanthram, which focuses on surgery and orthopaedics in Ayurveda. Throughout her postgraduate studies, Dr. Bhat honed her skills in anorectal surgeries, orthopaedics, fracture management, and sports medicine, incorporating integrated Ayurveda physiotherapy into her practice.
