Dr. Suchithra Viswan completed her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) at Sri Sri College of Ayurveda, Bangalore, which is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, in 2011.
She is recognized for her extensive expertise in various Ayurvedic and complementary therapies: she has specialized in Panchakarma therapies, having undergone training at Vaidyaratnam, Ollur. She has received specialized training at Vanitha Speciality Clinic for the treatment of various gynaecological conditions. Dr. Viswan is trained in therapeutic yoga through SVYASA. She completed training in applied psychiatry at Kottakkal Arya Vaidyasala, including SMRITHI Meditation and Advanced SMRITHI Counselling. Her expertise extends to managing autism through Ayurveda therapies, as part of the CAMA program. She specializes in advanced marma techniques, which are particularly beneficial for handling emergency conditions. Dr. Suchithra is also skilled in working with children.
Dr. Suchithra served as Chief Physician at Kottakkal Aryavaidyasala Agency, Edathua, Alleppey District, from April 2012 to June 2015. She worked as a Part-time Consultant at Kottakkal Aryavaidyasala, Vennikkulam, from April 2013 to September 2016, at Nagarjuna Ayurveda Pvt Ltd Agency, Thrikkunnapuzha, Alleppey District, from September 2015 to August 2016. And at Nagarjuna Ayurvedic Pvt Ltd Clinic, Mannar, Alleppey District, from August 2019 to February 2023.
She has been serving as Chief Physician at Sree Devamrutham Ayurvedic Clinic, Podiyadi, Pathanamthitta District, since August 2014, Dr. Suchithra was also a Consultant Physician at the Integrated Women Health Wellness Centre (Vallabhassery Clinic, Kottayam). From February 2022 to February 2023, she worked as a Smrithi Meditation Counsellor at Vedagram Ayurvedic Hospital, Omallur, Pathanamthitta District. Since March 2023, she has been serving as a Medical Officer at Y Mahadeva Iyer’s Sri Sarada Ayurveda Hospital, Derisanamcope, Nagercoil.
She was working with the projects like: CTY, CAMA: A project associated with the Kottakkal School of Excellence. Vanitha Clinic Training: A one-year project conducted under the Ayurveda Medical Association of India (AMAI). Ano-Rectal Care Clinic: A one-year project under AMAI. Panchakarma Training: A three-month training program at Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala Hospital, Ollur, Thrissur. Marma and Advanced Marma Specialisation: Specialized training received from the Thirumoolar Varmology Institute, Coimbatore.
